Your Voice Matters

Fibromyalgia affects 10 million Americans, and chronic pain illnesses affect more than 100 million American adults. Our attention is focused on you. We realize these life-altering illnesses can reduce productivity, steal life dreams, affect parenting, and cause poverty. We want you to share your story because your voice matters. What's your average day like living with a chronic pain illness? Can you access pain relief in a dignified way? What obstacles prevent you from finding appropriate access to pain care? Please, let us know.

On June 27, 2014, the White House sent out an email with an invitation to write to President Obama and share your story to let him know how you're doing, what challenges you face, and what's working for you. "I want to hear from you," said President Obama.

The National Fibromyalgia & Chronic Pain Association (NFMCPA) is compiling patient stories to tell the White House, Congress and policy makers that we need their help. If you'd like to share your story with the NFMCPA please click here. To receive notice of legislative issues, please register here.

The National Fibromyalgia & Chronic Pain Association (NFMCPA) is a 501(c)3 not for profit organization. We support people with chronic pain illnesses and their families and friends by contributing to caring, professional, and community relationships. Through continuing education, networking with support groups and advocates, and affiliation with professional organizations, the members of the NFMCPA have a place to be informed, get involved, and recognize achievements. Learn more.
